Aspire UI Components Standard Edition Released
GhostWire Studios is pleased to announce the release of Aspire UI Components Standard Edition.
Aspire UI is a library of Actionscript 3.0 (AS3) classes for building flexible and lightweight UI elements in Adobe Flash applications. Key features include automatic tab focus ordering, CSS text styles, layout management, and easy skinning using external PNG bitmap files.
Aspire UI Standard Edition includes all the classes from Aspire UI Lite Edition (previously released as Aspire UI Components Set 1) and the following new components:
uiWindow
A container that contains a title bar and a content area for its child. It can also optionally display a menu bar and a status bar.

uiDialog
A control used to display pop-up messages within a modal window. The dialog displays an image, a text message, and one or more buttons. It can also optionally display an input text field.

uiMenu / uiMenuBar
uiMenu is used to create and display pop-up menus that may contain as many levels of submenus as required. uiMenuBar is used to create horizontal, top-level menu bar similar to that seen in desktop applications.

uiCursors
A manager that implements the use of custom cursors. The custom cursors are rendered using PNG bitmap files.

uiFonts
A manager that implements the use of embedded fonts loaded into the application via external SWF files during run-time.
uiToolTips
A manager that implements the use of pop-up tool tips.
