MyApplication

When using the Aspire UI library, there is no particular base class you need to extend for your application. Just the native flash.display.Sprite class would do.

The following is a template you may want to use:

ActionScript 3.0 MyApplication class

 package
 {
     import com.ghostwire.ui.managers.uiSkin;

     import flash.display.Sprite;
     import flash.events.Event;

     public class MyApplication extends Sprite
     {
         public function MyApplication()
         {
             if (stage) init();
             else addEventListener(Event.ADDED_TO_STAGE, init);
         }

         private function init(evt:Event = null):void
         {
             removeEventListener(Event.ADDED_TO_STAGE, init);
